About

Dimo chair produces furniture pieces after the designs of the Chandigarh Master plan of 1952. The designs are also known as the “Pierre Jeanneret pieces”.

Our production has been active since the 1950s and the carpentry work is operated by a Sikh that worked alongside Pierre Jeanneret.

Every piece that we produce is done by hand with the main focus being material and craftsmanship.

As during the Chandigarh master plan; our pieces are produced according to a specific space and can be customized according to this space.

Material

All our furniture pieces are produced in teak wood coming from the Punjab area in India. Our teak wood has been cut in the early 2000s.

Technique

Our production process mainly consists of manual handcraft, with a machine only entering the process during sanding.
