4X Metal Ring Barstools

This rare set of four barstools features original metal footrests and distinctive institutional markings from Chandigarh. Three of the stools were originally commissioned for the Mechanical Engineering Department of Punjab Engineering College, while the fourth served in a general classroom or lecture hall. c. 1957 The markings include: M.E.C.H/ST‑101 – Stool no. 101, Mechanical Engineering M.E.C.H/ST‑201 – Stool no. 201, Mechanical Engineering M.E.C.H/ST‑241 – Stool no. 241, Mechanical Engineering C.L.S.99 – Classroom or Lecture Hall, Stool no. 99 All prices include the full restoration of the piece.
