Large Dining Table, c. 1960

Solid teak dining table with rectangular top and thick apron featuring gently curved lower corners. Supported by two pairs of slanted, tapered legs joined by distinctive V-shaped stretchers — a hallmark of Jeanneret’s functional modernism. Retains its original stencilled marking “I.T.I / Rajpura / PB. / T-37”, indicating provenance from the Industrial Training Institute, Rajpura (Punjab).
