Three-seat institutional settee designed by Pierre Jeanneret for Panjab University in Chandigarh, India. The frame is constructed in solid teak with broad armrests, splayed compass-form side supports, and individually framed cane seat and back panels.
The settee was made as part of the Chandigarh furniture program developed under Jeanneret’s direction for the city’s public and educational buildings. A faded institutional inventory marking is visible on the rear rail and is consistent with Panjab University provenance.
